Hospitality Internship Program

The Glacier Park Collection Hospitality Internship Program is a paid learning and development opportunity for Hospitality and Tourism focused students.

/      This program provides students an opportunity to practice valuable learned educational skills in a live guest service environment. All Interns play a valuable role in a variety of our guest experience operations.

/      Students are provided training and a hands-on opportunity to develop their skills in a guest service focused National Park hospitality environment. Operating divisions range from call center and concierge services to guest services and housekeeping operations. 

/      Students must commit to a consecutive 12-20 week internship to satisfy both the employment agreement and their program requirements.

/      Internships typically begin between late May and early August and consist of 12 - 20 weeks of consecutive full time work.

/      All qualified Interns are provided on-site housing options as well as other benefits.

Culinary Externship Program

The Glacier Park Collection Culinary Externship Program is a paid learning and development opportunity for Culinary and Pastry focused students.

/      Culinary externs play a valuable role in our restaurant, banquet and cafeteria operations. 

/      Externs are provided an opportunity for hands-on, high volume, production experience in full-service, seasonal kitchens. Externs gain valuable experience in all stages of restaurant operations, from opening to close they are able to develop their culinary persona, while immediately putting into practice the valuable skills they have learned. 

/      Students enjoy an opportunity for development and refining of their educational knowledge, culminating in a comprehensive performance evaluation by their Chef. This performance evaluation, conducted at the end of the externship, provides the student and educational institution with critical feedback on the student’s knowledge, skills, abilities and professional development over the course of the program. 

/      Students must commit to a consecutive 12-20 week externship that will satisfy both the employment agreement and their school requirements.

/      Externships typically begin between mid-May and early-August and consist of 12-20 weeks of consecutive full time work.

People & Culture Internship Program

The Glacier Park Collection People & Culture Internship Program introduces selected candidates to the world of seasonal Human Resources within our People & Culture department.  

This paid opportunity is ideal for Human Resources focused students wishing to advance their knowledge and skills in an engaging, highly interactive and adventurous work environment, where honesty, integrity and a quality work/life balance describe the culture of our operations.

/      The Intern position plays a critical role in a variety of functions including, but not limited to; new hire arrivals, on-boarding  and orientation, processing of large volumes of employee data, involvement with employee relations and employee communications, support to operating divisions and a host of other responsibilities.

/      Interns will gain a variety of practical skills and experiences useful toward satisfying their educational requirements while expanding their current skill sets. 

/      Interns will spend the majority of their day overseeing the check-in office, interacting and communicating with employees and potential candidates. 

/      Interns will also, on occasion, travel to other properties providing support, counseling and encouragement to seasonal management and staff. 

/      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, extreme attention to detail, honesty, integrity and confidentiality are mandatory requirements.

/      Interns must commit to a consecutive 16-20 week internship between May and September.

/      Work schedules typically include 32-50 hour work weeks.

/      All qualified Interns are provided on-site housing and meals, as well as other benefits.
