Summer Work Travel - USA Properties

Glacier Park Collection is pleased to partner with CIEE Work & Travel USA and Intrax Work Travel to hire students to the J-1 Summer Work Travel Program. As a part of the U.S. Department of State’s Exchange Visitor Program, Summer Work Travel (SWT) is an educational and cultural exchange opportunity for students, fellow employees and guests at our Glacier National Park and Whitefish, Montana properties.

We hire students from more than one dozen countries around the globe each year. Approximately 30% of our seasonal workforce is comprised of students working on a J-1 visa.

Our Summer Work Travel Program works with the following sponsoring agencies:
CIEE Work & Travel USA

Intrax Work Travel

Students interested in pursuing summer employment with us should contact a partner agency for further information.  No independent offers will be made to program participants new to Glacier Park Collection

By participating in this highly competitive program, selected SWT students bring a unique dynamic, cultural nuance and diverse interests to our workplace. Students enhance their cultural understanding of life in the United States, as well as expand their English language skills. As importantly, fellow employees and guests expand their cultural knowledge and understanding through interacting with their international counterparts.

Atenea Rios: My Summer in Glacier

Atenea Rios was part of the CIEE Work & Travel Program and worked at Glacier Park Lodge during the summer of 2015. Atenea is from Spain and this was her first experience in Montana. Throughout the summer, she wrote blogs and created videos to document her experience for school credit.

Here's a glimpse into what her summer was like and what your summer could be when you work with Glacier Park, Inc.

We welcome return SWT participants who have previously worked with us to apply directly on our website. Candidates will be considered based on availability, skills, experience and past performance. Candidates must qualify for a J-1 Visa and use a sponsoring agency listed above. It is not necessary to attend a 2017 recruitment event.
