Our staff here are ultimate hosts, creating memories for our guests on the Sulphur Mountain Boardwalk, our hands-on interpretive centre and theatre, and our three unique mountaintop restaurants.

All About the Gondola

Location

Perched above the town on Mountain Avenue, the Banff Gondola is a 4 km (a five-minute drive) from downtown Banff.

We host over 700,000 guests year-round high above Banff.

Getting Around

Gondola staff who live in Banff receive a complimentary ROAM transit bus pass that gets you to and from work. Some of our team members prefer to live in the nearby community of Canmore (20 minutes away) and are able to get a discounted ROAM pass if they would like.

Staff Accommodation

Many of our team members choose to embrace the mountain life and find a shared living space outside of staff accommodation in Banff. For seasonal staff, some housing is available in a couple of locations around town, suited to between one and four roomies per room, with common areas and cooking facilities on site. Lodging cost ranges from $11–17/day, and is payroll deducted for a no-hassle experience.
