LIVE & WORK AT ST. MARY VILLAGE

You’ll find St. Mary Village where the wilderness of Glacier National Park meets the sweeping plains of Montana. The remote settings call to adventurers who live at the jumping-off point to the heart of the park—the intersection of the iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road and the eastside boundary highway (MT 89).

St. Mary Village is tucked into a beautiful landscape and a sense of adventure abounds here. Our backdrop is St. Mary’s Lake on the Going to the Sun Road, surrounded by lodgepole pines and rolling mountains.

All About the Village

At the East Gates of Glacier National Park, St. Mary Village is 8 miles from Babb, MT, 18 miles from Many Glacier and about 50 Miles from East Glacier.

The Team

Team members: 179 strong!

Summer Guests

We host over 20,000 guests June through September in our 127 guest rooms in seven properties.

Staff Housing

We are proud to offer complimentary staff housing. Stay cozy in a range of housing options like rustic 4-bedroom cabins nestled at the bottom of Divide Mountain, including some couples’ accommodation. We’ve got you covered with common areas, laundry, and an employee dining room on site.

Stay Nourished

We offer 3 hearty meals in our employee dining room per day at a rate of $7.50/day, including access to employee dining between meal times for a quick snack, sandwich for the road, or bowl of cereal.

Stay Connected

In our expert opinion, the best cell phone service provider in the area is Verizon. Staff Wi-Fi and computers are waiting for you on site.

Getting Around

Get out and about on regular staff shuttles, and guest shuttles when space is available. The Village is walking distance to GNP Visitor Center, St. Mary Lake and more, however a personal vehicle (or a friend with one!) is useful for exploring the park.
